Environment Pollution : A Burning Issue of the world
INTRODUCTION
Environment pollution is a burning issue in the whole world. Pollution can’t get stop but we can minimize it. According to the (WHO) World Health Organization report ; one-fourth of the global total deaths are attributable to environmental issues. There are more than 100 diseases which may be resulted by environmental risk factors such as air , water , soil , noise , and radiations pollutions.
TYPES
Pollution are of different types according to the areas like air pollution, land pollution, water pollution and so on.
- Air Pollution
Air pollution is the pollution on air caused due to the smoke and from burning fires also in factories. Air pollution is a mixture of solid particles and gases in the air. Car emissions, chemicals from factories, dust, pollen and mold spores may be suspended as particles. Ozone, a gas, is a major part of air pollution in cities. When ozone forms air pollution, it’s also called smog. Some air pollutants are poisonous.
2. Land Pollution
Land pollution is the pollution on soil which is caused when Plastic and other rubbishes are in soil. it occurs mainly due to the indirect and direct effects of human activities. Similarly, when we misuse the land resources, land pollution happens.
It is a global issue that needs to be fixed immediately. The unnecessary materials contaminate the quality of our land. For instance, even the garbage on the streets is a kind of land pollution only.
3. Water Pollution
Water pollution means the pollution of water resources like rivers, ponds, lakes, etc. Water gets contaminated easily with any pollutant whether it is human waste or chemical discharge from factories. Also, we use this water for irrigation of crops and drinking.
The pollution is caused by solid and liquid particles and certain gases that are suspended in air. These particles and gases come from car and truck exhaust, factories, smell of polluted environment, dust and wildfires.
There are so many ways of controlling the pollution and they are:
- Avoid uses of firecrackers
- Say no to plastic bags
- Reuse, Reduce and recycle
- Reduction of smoking and forest fires
- Use Petroleum gas for cooking
- Limit industries in a state
- Use electric vehicles
- Afforestation
- Develop the program of cleaning different areas
- Awareness program
Pollution is a very dangerous and burning issue of the whole world. It should be controlled otherwise in future it can bring various devastating issues and problems. Some unstable climate changes are earthquakes, famine, smog, carbon particles, shallow rain or snow, thunderstorms, volcanic eruption, and avalanches are all because of climate change that happens all because of environmental pollution.
In conclusion, man has exploited the wealth of nature at the cost of his and environments health. Also, the effect that is now emerging rapidly is all because of the activities of humans for hundreds or thousands of years.
